Oil Lamps In The Darkness...

If not for Kerosene lamps, we’d have killed every whale in the ocean 100 years ago.

We were lighting our way into the future using oil derived from whale carcasses.

Kerosene, a petroleum derivative, saved a lot more whales than Greenpeace could ever imagine.

How’s that for conflict and irony?

While petroleum has been widely demonized, none of us would be sitting here staring into our screens without it.
