At age 77, I’ve been a Nature Guy all my life.

Most of my peers grew up intent on bringing Nature to her knees.

Consider being an American growing up in ‘The 50s’.

The Future was a technological marvel, without a tree in sight.

That’s why the kids I grew up with can so easily reconcile the destruction of nature.

To them, Nature has always been the enemy, filled with things trying to kill us.

The Natural World is seen as a part of history in their view.

A history in which these guys have doubled the human population, removed countless threats to our survival, and expanded understanding by leaps and bounds.

Domination of Nature, compliments of King Petro Chem.

He made today possible, and tomorrow impossible.

The King’s minions are greedy and stupid like all minions.

Now that we’re experiencing diminishing returns on petroleum extraction, alternatives have appeared on the horizon.

The stupid, greedy minions will kick, scratch, and claw to the death in a final confrontation before surrendering to the alternatives.

Call it what you will, we are in a war for the future of energy, and the guys with all the guns are backing King Petrochem.

Environmental Upheaval is a byproduct of this war.

Plastic is a byproduct of King Petrochem’s Reign.

Without plastic, The Global Economy couldn’t function.

The tons of plastic waste littering planet Earth will become an archaeological layer to be uncovered by whoever inherits this rock.
